Simplifying Life

Sonny-Del-Rosario

There comes a time in life when simplicity becomes the ultimate luxury. For me, that time is now. I’ve realized that focusing on what truly matters—bringing value to myself, my family, and those I care deeply about—is far more fulfilling than navigating unnecessary complexities.

With this in mind, I’ve made the bittersweet decision to retire LifeQuest Training and Consultancy Corporation, the company my wife and I proudly founded in 2014. LifeQuest was our shared vision: a trusted provider of learning and development and business consultancy services. While it brought us great joy and purpose, managing the administrative and marketing aspects has become increasingly taxing for both of us.

That said, my passion for facilitating growth and transformation hasn’t waned. I still conduct strategic planning sessions, deliver seminars and workshops, and provide business consultancy services—only now, I do so independently. If you represent a training organization or consultancy firm seeking the expertise I offer, I’d be delighted to collaborate.

On another front, I’ve been diving deeper into academia, a space where I’ve found immense purpose and inspiration. As the executive director of the School of Management at Asia Pacific College, I’m leading efforts to drive greater internationalization and leverage cutting-edge technologies. I’ve also authored an introductory textbook on project management and am working diligently on a second, this time focusing on strategic management.

For personal growth, I’ve set my sights on a new academic milestone: a Doctor of Business Administration degree, which I plan to begin in August 2025. This lifelong learning journey keeps me energized and forward-looking.

Meanwhile, my wife is exploring her long-held dream of venturing into the fashion or beauty-and-wellness space. Naturally, I’m here to support her every step of the way. Fun fact: I once pursued a fashion design course and even showcased my own collections in a couple of fashion shows during my younger years!

As for our children, they’ve decided to carve out their own paths and embrace independence. Yet my wife and I can’t stray too far—we’ve decided to downsize and move to a residence within walking distance of their homes.

And so, this marks the beginning of a new chapter in our lives: simpler, more intentional, and full of possibilities.

To my network on LinkedIn and in my other socials: thank you for your support and camaraderie over the years. I’m excited to continue connecting, sharing ideas, and collaborating in meaningful ways as I step into this exciting phase.
